Well it's been a fucking ripper of a year. SYB has became bigger, better and gnarlier. Hopefully it's made skaters out there get hyped to skate more in Scotland and progress the scene. Which is what we are gonna do even more next year.

So merry fucking xmas shralpers. SYB will be hell shredding hard in 2012.

Shutting 2011 down last night at the pre-xmas SYB shred. Festive Paris (with possibly the worst tee of 2011 in any photo) BS nosepicks the big quarter.

Plus a merry Cronso, after coming back from a gnarly injury, fires a slob to turn the lights off at the death...

SYB Friday 666 - 16th December

This week's treat of a 666 comes after a heavy week of other treats. Namely in the form of some SYB gnar gear. Hoodies, tees and beanies dropping with a good helping of hype. Thanks to everyone who has bought one! Following that up we got SYB stickers and some fucking 'fresh' SYB air freshners on the way!

Not to mention every one that buys something will get stickers posted to them (when they arrive) and gets entered into a prize draw for a insanely uber limited edition framed print of the first SYB Concrete Slayer overlord - Cannibal Col. Buy shit here...

Anyway enough of that rambling. Here's a tasty little treat from the new Radworx's indoor in Hamilton. It's actually about 5 minutes away from Blantyre skatepark. And its not for profit so well worth a visit to keep the place open this winter.

It's a tight little beast but well worth a £1 an hour. Here's the boss... Paul "man" Silvester going for it with this ollie up the step-up, to lipslide transfer into the quarter.

SYB really dislikes this shit weather going on. But as  always skaters adapt to what they can get to shred, even if it it is constant indoor carnage. A good thing about indoor skating is the fact you end up meeting folk you ain't seen in a while... sometimes it's folk like Chris who are having a serious sesh.

Transgression New bowl session....

Following up Firdyas 666 vision ramps have put a video together from the very first session. Without a doubt Colin fucking smashed it as well as Kerr, Burrows, Russ, Colin taylor and Hus was on another level. The guys skates like a rabbit dog on the edge of insanity. Amazing to watch.

The Slayer keeps on slaying...
Most of you already know but just incase you didn't SYB's first Concrete Slayer Demon Overlord:- Colin Adam rips it insanely hard every time he shreds. So it was no exception on the first skate of the new bowl at Transgression last thursday.

This sunday the lads at Transgression are putting together a skate comp to open the new bowl... 6pm until 10pm. £10 to skate. £3 to watch radness. If you can I'd defo advise getting a slash in on the jelly bowl!! SYB out.

New bowl @ transgression

Old Shralp and the Cannibal met up with the thursday night skate crew at Transgression to test out the new bowl. And we can confirm it's fucking rad. Its tight and a weird shape but just makes it even better when ye get the lines figured oot!!
